Treatment

The RealLogs, along with having an excellent physical structure and qualified professionals, performs a strict quality control during all stages of the cultivation and processing of the eucalyptus, from the packaging of the logs to the drying dimensions and visual appearance.

Follow the Process:
Treatment of our wood is done under vacuum pressure in an autoclave by applying the product CCA (chromate copper arsenate), making the color of the wood green and also protecting it against fungi and insects. Wood treated with CCA make the life of eucalyptus longer and agrees perfectly with finishes such as paint, coating, glues and adhesives. All the wood treatment is followed step by step process, giving the wood the average durability of 15 years.

1. Dried and processed wood is introduced in the autoclave;

2. An initial vacuum removes most of the air present within the wood cells.

3. Still under the vacuum, the treatment solution is transferred to the autoclave;

4. Under high pressure, the solution is injected into the wood;

5. The pressure is relieved and the excess solution is transferred back into the reservoir;

6. A final vacuum removes excess solution from the wood surface.
